New Blog Design

What do you think about the new blog design? I thought I would spruce it up in here a little bit. So I designed the header, sidebar titles, and a new siggy using my beloved graphics program Fireworks by Adobe (will always be Macromedia to me tho). If you read the Sweet Menu you will see I am going to start doing tutorials this year. More on that to come. Please let me know if the new design is causing you any problems. I know enough html to get myself in trouble and that's about it! LOL

Hope you have a great Friday!! TGIF!!

School Valentines

These cute little Valentine boxes are for my son to hand out to his classmates this year. The back has an oval that is stamped From: so he can sign his name. We plan on filling them with Hersey kisses. They were super simple to make using my Cricut and the Tags, Bags, Boxes, and More cart.

Of course we picked the box with the heart closure. How perfect! I would normally add allot more embellies... but I had 30 to make!! I was afraid I was going to run out of paper. Speaking of which the paper is all K&Co from their Valentine line last year. Lots of great papers in that pack. Now it's onto the Valentine cards I am having the whole class make for the party craft. Now I know how some of you SU demo's feel when getting ready for a class. So much cutting and preparing! I am keeping it simple due to the volume and I will post a pick of the design when I am done. I hope as all of you are getting into your Valentine crafts that you have good supplies, good music, and of course some chocolate!

Thanks for stopping by!

Fun Swap!

Hey Guys! TGIF!!! There was a swap I joined in where we had to decorate a mason jar and fill it with scrappin' goodies. I found that my pal had a scrap room that is hot pink & turquoise. So I used those colors hoping she'll like it enough to place it in her space. I've never used these colors together before and had allot of fun with them. The card was a last minute thought. I wanted it to match so I delayed shipping for a few days while I worked on it. I got to use my new Verve stamps and nestabilities.

The delivery confirmation says it was delivered on Wednesday. So I thought it would be ok to post this. I hope she liked it.

Thanks for spending some of your time with me today.

Paper: CS (DCWV) PP (Michaels)
Stamp: Verve
Extras: SU (paper piercer, ribbon) MS leaf punch, prima flowers, paper loft brad, rhinestones, nestabilities tags

Happy weekend everybody! Can you believe it's time to begin valentines? The time is just flying by for me lately. But I have to say working with hearts, pinks, and all things girlie makes me so happy! Especially since I am the only girl in the house. Even the cat & dog are male!! Eeee Gads that's allota testosterone in one family. It sure makes me covet this little room of mine. My space to call my own. :) Where I craft away into the wee hours.

This valentine comes from a sketch my friend Vickie chose as a challenge this week at Paper Therapy on It was so much fun to work with. I love the colors all together on this card. So yummy!!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge!

Hey Girls! It's Sunday... and you know what that means? Another stamping challenge over at SSC. If you haven't given their challenges a go you really should. The ideas are always fresh and so much fun. Today's challenge is "Party Time". Just design a project for any kind of party. How fun is that?

The card I made for this challenge is a 40th B~day card for my girlfriend. It's going to be for her surprise birthday party this weekend. I am really drawn to the black, white, and pink these days. Black and white is such a classic combo and the ideas are endless. On this card I got to use my new Just Rite and Verve stamps.

I wish you all many blessings for the new year. Thank you so much for dropping in.
